Children's book illustration and caricatures in Cape Town and the Stellenbosch winelands by South African illustrator, Martinus van Tee
After an exhausting two weeks of sketching at events in Johannesburg, Sun City and Pretoria, I was happy to be back home in the beautiful Western Cape for the wedding of Nicole Crockford at Pampoenkraal in Durbanville. Pics from the wedding below.
I was recently contacted by Kelly Quinn to sketch caricatures at her wedding at La Vierge, in the Hemel en Aarde valley, Hermanus. This job was slightly different to my usual wedding events, as the guests had to write a message to the couple at the bottom of each illustration.

I have had a very busy last few weeks, and I have sketched live caricatures at many different events all over South Africa. This included a trip to Bela Bela (Warmbaths) where I saw some antelope and elephants, and my first trip to the Drakensberg. I also sketched quickie caricatures
